RIGA - Andrejs Mamikins (Harmony), a European Parliament member from Latvia who met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad last week, has not ruled out a visit to Aleppo in the nearest future.
The MEP told BNS that all the European Parliament members who visited Syria last Thursday wanted to go to Aleppo, but that information was received at the last moment that the trip would be too dangerous. "So we put off the trip," Mamikins said.
"I hope to go there. In the next coming weeks or months perhaps, I don't know," the MEP said.
