Majority of Latvians believe in EU‘s use

The majority or 70 per cent of Latvian residents believe the country has benefited from the EU membership, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey. Ca 23 per cent respondents that Latvia’s EU membership has not brought any benefit, while 7 per cent did not have any particular opinion on the matter. The majority or 67 per cent of EU residents believe that their country has benefited from the EU membership, which is the highest indicators since 1983. In Estonia 86 per cent of resident and in Lithuania 90 per cent of respondents see benefit from the EU membership.
