Majority of Latvian residents feel that they are free - study

RIGA - According to a recent SKDS survey, the majority of Latvian residents feel that they are free people.

The survey, conducted in February, ask residents if they feel like free people in Latvia.

79 percent stated that they felt like free people in Latvia - 33.2 percent feel ''strongly'' about this, while 45.4 percent said that they ''mostly'' feel that they are free.

Meanwhile, 17 percent had an opposite view, while 4.6 percent did not have a point of view on this matter.
