Major business events in Lithuania planned for next week

VILNIUS - The following are major business events in Lithuania scheduled for the coming week:

Monday, Dec. 4

Viktoras Pranckietis, the speaker of the Seimas, to meet with China's ambassador to Lithuania, Wei Ruixing.

Finance Minister Vilius Sapoka to take part in Eurogroup and ECOFIN meetings in Brussels on Dec. 4-5.

Tuesday, Dec. 5

The Bank of Lithuania to host an annual real estate conference.

Economy Minister Virginijus Sinkevicius to take part in a meeting of the Working Party on Responsible Business Conduct of the OECD Investment Committee that will assess Lithuania's progress in implementing the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and developing the Lithuanian National Contact Point's activities.

Wednesday, Dec. 6

Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil) convenes a shareholder meeting on investments in the upgrading of quays.

Thursday, Dec. 7

The Seimas to continue debates on a draft state budget for 2018.

A conference on Efficient Management of State-owned Assets, organized by the property consultancy Newsec and the law firm Cobalt, to take place in Vilnius.

Friday, Dec. 8

Finance Minister Vilius Sapoka to meet with members of the OECD political mission over a review of the Lithuanian economy that is currently being prepared.

Statistics Lithuania to publish consumer price indexes for November, foreign trade figures for October, and the third-quarter labor cost index.

Vilnius to host a Lithuania-Ukraine economy forum organized by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
