Latvian center Anzejs Pasecniks was selected by the Orlando Magic in the NBA Draft last week.The Magic selected the 7 ft 2 center with the 25th selection, thus becoming the fifth Latvian to be selected in the NBA Draft. However, Pasecniks was immediately traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for a 2020 first round pick (from Oklahoma City) and a 2020 second round pick. The 21-year-old Pasecniks played for Spanish club Gran Canaria Herbalife last season, averaging 8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game in the Spanish ACB League.
