RIGA - The madness of the Russian war in Ukraine is once again sowing fear and anxiety in Europe, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said after meeting with Baltic foreign ministers in Riga on Wednesday evening.
She noted that the tradition of the German-Baltic ministerial meeting dates back to 1994, but that no meeting has taken place in similar conditions as now. According to Baerbock, the ministerial meeting follows a geopolitical caesarean section, and almost a month or two has passed since the criminal attack on Ukraine and the outbreak of war in Europe.
