Luminor grants 550 thousand to cleaning services provider BCS SIA

Luminor Bank has granted more than half a million euros to BCS SIA, one of the largest companies in the professional cleaning sector, for business development. The company has obtained a new credit line of €350,000 and a lease of €200,000. The loan is issued with an Altum guarantee.

BCS SIA will use the credit line for maintenance of the machinery as well as for day-to-day expenses, while the lease will be used for the purchase of various machinery needed for business operations, including cleaning equipment, washing machines, etc.

“The services sector was one of those most affected by the pandemic and the restrictions it brought. BCS SIA has successfully overcome this period and has now achieved an increase in turnover by actively attracting new partners and clients, as well as expanding its range of services. Continuous improvement of management will allow the company to compete successfully in the market,” says Ilze Zoltnere, Head of Corporate Banking at Luminor in Latvia.

The company provides cleaning services for supermarkets, office buildings and other premises, as well as dry cleaning and other cleaning services. The largest partners of BCS SIA are Maxima, Rimi, IKEA, Drogas, Kronospan, Realto, Euro Aptieka, Vairāk saules, etc., including state and municipal objects, such as the State Revenue Service, RTU, National History Museum of Latvia, Daugavpils Olympic Centre, Liepaja Concert Hall Lielais dzintars, etc.

“We have been cooperating with Luminor since 2019, and the bank's support has been an integral part of the company's development over these years. We have now accumulated the necessary experience and are ready to take the next steps in our development on the international market. We actively participate in national and municipal tenders for cleaning and janitorial services, and plan to take on additional work and sites. As we have a growing number of partners and clients, the bank financing will allow us to ensure continuity of cash flow,” says Romāns Berseņevs, owner of BCS SIA.
