The talk in the media in recent weeks of Swedbank and SEB potentially leaving the Estonian market is nothing but pure speculation, the chief economist of Luminor Estonia, Tonu Palm, said on March 19.
The economist described the banking sector of Estonia as one of the most profitable in Europe.
"As an investor, I would be glad to keep my money in productive assets," Palm said appearing before reporters in connection with the publication of Luminor's fresh economic outlook.
