LPB Bank takes over PrivatBank consumer loan portfolio airBaltic Pilot Academy

LPB Bank has taken over the PrivatBank’s credit portfolio of private individuals with consumer loan agreements issued to students of the airBaltic Pilot Academy for the total amount of 743 thousand euros. 

In August, all PrivatBank clients whose liabilities are included in the loan portfolio to airBaltic Pilot Academy were informed about the new payment procedure. On 16 August, the balance value of the consumer loan portfolio was 743 thousand euros, said Edgars Jerans, Head of the Financing Department of LPB Bank. 

"LPB Bank actively lends to both legal entities and individuals, and this transaction allows LPB Bank to expand the range of services and clients," pleased E. Jerans. 

airBaltic Pilot Academy has been training top-level pilots since 2018 and guarantees its graduates pilot jobs in the airline airBaltic. The full-time study program lasts two years. Residents of Latvia and other EU countries can study at the airBaltic Pilot Academy.

All airBaltic training programs adhere to EASA and ICAO regulations and are created and instructed by active aviation professionals working and flying directly with airBaltic.
