RIGA - A solo exhibition by the creative collective GolfClayderman titled Lovestorm at the Golf Club / Sturm der Liebe im Golfplatz will be on view in the Creative Studio of the ARSENĀLS Exhibition Hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art in Riga (Torņa iela 1, 2nd floor) from 15 June to 29 July 2018.
Along with the exhibition opening on 14 June 2018 at 18.00, a real Golf Club will open its doors in the ARSENĀLS Creative Studio. Everyone will be able to become a member, including you! The rules are very simple – the ball must be hit into the hole. Who will be the winner? Who will become the star of the evening?
The opening event will include a performance offering the opportunity to see the latest fashion from the wardrobe of Baltic Slavs, Germans and Pakistanis as well as to hear the curator perform a widely popular melody.
Talking about the forthcoming exhibition the authors emphasise: “Sporting and poetic genes cause envy among office dandies, and doubtless we all know that the time spent together is possibly more important than the copier dust in the nostrils. Girls know that too. No need to make love so much, better play golf.”
During the exhibition, the visitors will be offered various educational events and performances.
