Lithuanian prosecutors have opened an investigation into anti-gay comments published online following the deadly attack in an Orlando nightclub.
“Prosecutors believe that there is sufficient evidence in the current phase of the proceedings to conclude that criminal deeds could have been committed and that the deeds and circumstances need to be investigated,” Gintare Vitkauskaite-Satkauskiene, spokeswoman for the Prosecutor General’s Office, said.
