VILNIUS – Lithuania's President Dalia Grybauskaite on Wednesday submitted proposed amendments to the Penal Code, suggesting tighter punishments for large-scale tax evasion. The President's Office said the amendments had been drafted in light of the legal gaps that were highlighted by the Labor Party's bookkeeping fraud trial that lasted a decade.
