VILNIUS - Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda intends to travel to Ukraine attend the commemoration of the third anniversary of Russia's invasion, his advisor Asta Skaisgiryte said on Tuesday.
"A visit to Ukraine is also planned because it is the third anniversary of the war and we would like to show Lithuania's support for Ukraine, which remains strong after three years," she told the Ziniu Radijas news radio.
Nauseda last visited Ukraine in September last year. Lithuania is one of the world's largest supporters to Ukraine in terms of a share of its gross domestic product.
The third anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine will be marked next Monday, February 24.
