Lithuanian president, Polish PM discuss Belarus situation

President Gitanas Nausėda met with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Vilnius on September 17 to discuss the situation in Belarus and sanctions against the Minsk regime, as well the planned launch of the Astravyets nuclear power plant, and the agenda of the EU's upcoming summit. The meeting mainly focused on the situation in Belarus and possible scenarios for how it may develop.  Nausėda asked Poland to join the three Baltic countries in their sanctions against Belarusian officials.
