VILNIUS – Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Simonyte is on Monday attending the Ukraine Recovery Conference in the Swiss city of Lugano.

In Lugano, discussions focus on assistance to Ukraine to help rebuild the war-ravaged country as quickly as possible, linking the reconstruction process to Ukraine's reform agenda.

In the Swiss city, Simonyte is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Swiss President Ignazio Cassis, the Lithuanian government's communications department said on Sunday.

The Ukraine Recovery Conference, hosted by Switzerland jointly with Ukraine, is a continuation of the Ukraine Reform Conference first held in London in 2017 and hosted by Vilnius in 2021.
