Lithuanian PM discussed possible gas price cut with Statoil

Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius discussed with Statoil’s top executives the possibility of a further cut in the price of gas supplied to Lithuania. “We spoke about the supply of gas from Statoil to Lithuania and perhaps a further price reduction, although Statoil has recently considerably lowered prices for gas deliveries to Lithuania,” he said.
