Lithuanian parlt to resume discussion on banning gender-based harassment

A proposal to prohibit gender-based harassment on Tuesday will be reintroduced to the Lithuanian parliament, which has previously rejected such an amendment despite a threat of EU sanctions. The government has been trying since last year to put a provision that prohibits not only sexual harassment, but also gender-based harassment in the workplace back into the Law on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men.
