Lithuanian parlt to discuss president-proposed changes to Labour Code

VILNIUS - Lithuania's parliament decided at the opening day of the final session of this term on Saturday to consider suggestions made by President Dalia Grybauskaite regarding the vetoed Labour Code. The proposal was backed by 93 of Lithuania's 141 lawmakers, while 23 voted to dismiss the Labour Code as unadopted. The bill including the president's amendments will now be assessed by the Social Affairs and Labour Committee, which will present its conclusions next week.
