Lithuanian ministry, trade unions to work out fixed pay model for teachers

VILNIUS - The Lithuanian Education and Science Ministry, together with trade unions, plans to work out by March a fixed pay model for school teachers. "We are committed to developing such a pay model by March jointly (with trade unions)," Education and Science Minister Jurgita Petrauskiene told reporters after meeting with the heads of trade unions.
