VILNIUS - The Lithuanian Education and Science Ministry, together with trade unions, plans to work out by March a fixed pay model for school teachers.
"We are committed to developing such a pay model by March jointly (with trade unions)," Education and Science Minister Jurgita Petrauskiene told reporters after meeting with the heads of trade unions.
This means that teachers' pay will not fluctuate based on their workload, but will be fixed.
