Lithuania's Social Security and Labour Ministry has proposed paying one more benefit to asylum beneficiaries intended for rent of housing. The ministry said the compensation would ease the financial burden during the period of integration in a certain municipality. "The current aid paid to asylum beneficiaries is not sufficient to cover their basic needs," the ministry stressed.
