Lithuanian Liberals’ approval rating plunges amid bribery allegations

The opposition Lithuanian Liberal Movement’s approval rating has plunged amid a bribery investigation conducted by law enforcement bodies, according the latest opinion poll. Some 6.6 per cent of those polled by Spinter Tyrimai on May 19 through 26 said they would vote for the Liberal Movement, down from 15.5 per cent who said so in April, pushing the Liberals down to sixth position in the ratings, from the second place it held a month ago.
