Lithuania's president, parliamentary speaker, and prime minister do not intend to march in the Baltic Pride parade of LGBTI awareness in Vilnius this weekend.
However, they all recognise the right to have and express beliefs.
"Chapter 25 of our Constitution envisages a right for every individual to have his beliefs and express them freely in any form that is not prohibited by the law, including parades," the President's Office said in a comment to BNS Lithuania about the sexual minority rally.
