Lithuanian government approves Baltic agreement on Rail Baltica

VILNIUS - The Lithuanian government approved on Wednesday an agreement between the three Baltic countries on the development of the European standard-gauge railway Rail Baltica. Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skvernelis and Transport Minister Rokas Masiulis said that there were no longer any disagreements over the project. "If it is signed, then it will have been agreed on the timeframe, importance, and direction, on the Vilnius-Kaunas connection and on the financing," Skvernelis told reporters after the Cabinet's meeting. ...
