Lithuanian formin to meet with his French counterpart in Paris

VILNIUS – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius is going to Paris on Monday and is scheduled to meet with his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian.

The two ministers, the French president's representative Ambassador Pierre Vimont and Minister of State for European Affairs Amelie de Montchalin plan to discuss bilateral relations and the implementation of the two countries' strategic partnership's goals, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Also, the security situation in the region, the EU agenda and the situation in Russia and Ukraine will be discussed.

Linkevicius is going to Paris at the invitation of the French foreign minister.
