Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevicius met his Baltic and German counterparts in Hamburg on Tuesday and called for taking into account Ukraine's economic and political interests.
Linkevicius called on Germany to take into account the ongoing institutional change in Ukraine, when considering its debt terms, to seek specific commitments by Russia regarding its gas transit through Ukraine after the launch of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, as well as to seek the release of Ukrainian seamen, who were still in Russian captivity.
