VILNIUS – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis is on Tuesday visiting Ukraine, which is facing Russia's military aggression, sources have confirmed to BNS.

Lithuania's top diplomat is to meet with Ukrainian government officials to discuss the West's support to Kyiv, they said.

Vytaute Smaizyte-Kuliesiene, the foreign minister's spokeswoman, would not comment on the information.

Russian forces launched a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine on February 24.

In response, the West has imposed sanctions against Russia and has provided comprehensive support to Ukraine, including military one.
