Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius will lead the Lithuanian Social Democratic Labor Party's (LSDLP) candidate list in October's parliamentary election, the party's presidium decided on July 16. Gediminas Kirkilas, the party's chairman, is at number two and Zigmantas Balčytis, a former MEP, is number three. The party has so far approved 65 candidates for single-member constituencies. Lithuania will elect its next parliament on October 11.
