Lithuanian court sentences Russian man for spying

The Vilnius Regional Court has sentenced Nikolai Philipchenko, a Russian citizen, to ten years in prison for spying. Judge Regina Pociene said that the 40-year-old man, who was detained in 2015, was an officer of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB). According to the court, Philipchenko used false documents to conceal his true identity and repeatedly crossed the country's border illegally.
