A Vilnius court has on November 23 issued Lithuanian MP Vytautas Bakas with a fine of 200 euros for making banned statements about the MG Baltic business group.
The chairman of the parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense was fined for breaching the court's previously introduced ban for him to claim that MG Baltic's activity "matches the characteristics of an organized criminal group" and that "MG Baltic has caused the state damage of around 500 million euros".
