Lithuanian citizen sentenced to 12 years imprisonment by Moscow court

Lithuanian citizen, Aristidas Tamosaitis, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for spying by the Russian Federal Security Bureau. Tamosaitis was detained by the Russian Federal Security Bureau in Russia in May 2015. The news was confirmed by Lithuania’s Ambassador to Russia, Remigijus Motuzas. "The court proceedings took place on March 17, and Tamosaitis was sentenced to 12 years," he said in a telephone interview. According to Motuzas, Tamosaitis' lawyer intends to appeal against the ruling....
