Lithuanian border guards have busted in late March a large warehouse in the Kaunas district, which they suspect was used for storing and resale of smuggled cigarettes. The facility included 185,000 packs of cigarettes, estimated at over 500,000 euros, as well as dozens of euros in cash. The authorities suspect the money came from illicit operations. This was the second similar operation by Pagegiai border guards in the Kaunas district in March, the State Border Guard Service said.
