Lithuanian bishops permit public Masses on Sundays

VILNIUS - Roman Catholic churches in Lithuania will be able to celebrate Masses with congregations on all days, including Sundays, the Lithuanian Bishop's Conference said on Thursday. Churches were allowed to resume public Masses in late April, but remained closed on Sundays.   The bishops decided on Thursday to allow the resumption of the public celebration of the Sunday Mass starting May 10.  They asked clergy and the faithful to continue following coronavirus safety guidelines.
