VILNIUS - Lithuanian theater and film actor Grazina Balandyte died after an illness at the age of 83 on Monday, Egidijus Stancikas, the director general of the National Kaunas Drama Theater, confirmed to BNS.
Balandyte worked at the drama theaters of Kaunas and Klaipeda and appeared in more than 20 film and TV roles over several decades.
Theater critics note her emotional and psychologically accurate acting.
