Lithuania to launch Cyber Security Centre

Lithuania begins 2015 with a brand new feeling of self assurance, at least in terms of its cyber security. Jan. 1 saw the launch of Lithuania’s National Cyber Security Centre, in accordance with the the newly passed Law on Cyber Security and a variety of amendments to related legislation. The law on Cyber Security stipulates that the Ministry of National Defence has to formulate, coordinate and implement the organisation of state cyber security policy and the newly founded centre will be responsible putting this policy into effect.
