Lithuania to donate €50,000 to Ukraine in humanitarian aid

Lithuania's Foreign Ministry will donate 50,000 euros in humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The money will be transferred to the World Health Organisation (WTO) to provide health and nutrition services to Ukrainians affected by the conflict in the country’s eastern regions.  Other proportions of the money will be transferred to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for educating Ukrainian children on avoiding mine risks. The news was confirmed to by the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry on April 13, 2016.
