VILNIUS - Lithuania disclosed today that it supplied military aid to Ukrainian troops which are fighting pro-Russian separatists in the eastern region of the country.
Military spokesman Tomas Pakalniskis informed BNS that Lithuania gave troops 150 tons of ammunition, mostly cartridges for AK-47 assault rifles.
Lithuanian army no longer uses them as they are below NATO standards, he stated.
