Lithuania still not ready to send weapons to Ukraine

VILNIUS - It has become no more clear whether or not Lithuania is really sending weapons to Ukraine, or when the country would even be ready to do so. After Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite promised weapons to Ukraine last year, surprisingly little was mentioned about how many weapons and when. It was a vague promise. By June, Lithuania’s ambassador to Ukraine, Marius Yanukonis, finally came out and said that Lithuania is ready to provide defensive weapons to the Ukrainian armed forces.
