Lithuania set to tighten punishment for breaking coronavirus quarantine

VILNIUS - The Lithuanian Justice Ministry has drafted legislative amendments to more severely punish those who break coronavirus quarantine rules, Justice Minister Elvinas Jankevicius confirmed to BNS on Monday.  Under the draft amendments, people who fail to self-isolate after returning from abroad would face criminal charges and up to a year in jail.
