Lithuania's top court rejects parliament opposition's request

The Constitutional Court of Lithuania on Thursday, September 19, rejected the Seimas opposition's request to rule whether the approval of the Saulius Skvernelis government after the president election did not run counter to the procedures enshrined in the Constitution. The Court ruled that the lawmakers provided only "statements and considerations of abstract and contradictory nature" but did not provide their position and legal arguments.
