Lithuania’s ruling LFGU mulls introducing vice premiers' positions

The ruling Lithuanian Farmers and Greens Union (LFGU, LVZS) is considering introducing two positions of vice premiers to make it clear who in the Cabinet is supposed to substitute for the prime minister, LFGU leader Ramūnas Karbauskis said on July 22.  Karbauskis also rejected opponents' criticism over Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga's five-week vacation and the decision to appoint Transport Minister Jaroslav Narkevič to substitute for him, calling it unfounded.
