Lithuania gears up for presidential election

The closer the presidential election, the more uncertainty.  This is how Lithuania’s presidential race can be described tersely.  Gitanas Nauseda, the leader of the Lithuanian presidential polls for the last year and a half, did not bolster his standings over the stretch, meanwhile MP Ingrida Simonyte, the candidate of the Conservatives (TS-LKD), saw her support surge from an unimpressive 12 percent to 22,3 percent in last poll by pollster Vilmorus.
