Lithuania enacts preposterous alcohol advertising constraints

With Draconian alcohol advertisement laws in place since January 1, Lithuania‘s Drug, Tobacco and Alcohol Control Department (LDTACD) is doing something unimaginable in compliance with the country’s recently amended law on Alcohol Control by urging shops and other retail outlets to censor pages featuring alcohol ads from magazines imported from abroad.
