Lithuania elects new councillors and mayors

Voters in Lithuania mainly voted for public election committees (PECs) during the municipal councillor races on March 3, with 26.75 percent voting for them in the multi-member constituency. Such committees are newcomers on Lithuania’s political stage, ones seeing increasing support.
