VILNIUS – Lithuania considers a purchase of combat helicopters, says the country's new Minister of Defense Raimundas Karoblis.
"Discussions are in progress. As a matter of fact, we have to admit that there is a certain gap when it comes to the Land Forces and the Special Operations Forces. And airborne support is airborne support," Karoblis said at a conference of 15min. at the portal on Friday.
Lithuania does not have combat helicopters so far.
