The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry reported today that an aircraft from Belarus has violated Lithuanian airspace in Lazdijai District, in the southern region of the country.
A Belarusian diplomat summoned to the Foreign Ministry was requested to offer an explanation and take measures to ensure that similar occurrences are avoided in the future, the ministry stated in a press release.
The incident was registered at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
