Lithuanian MP Vytautas Gapsys of the Labour Party on Monday handed a request to the Central Electoral Commission, asking to end his mandate as of Wednesday.
Gapsys said he would continue leading the party's election bureau and contribute all of his time to meetings with the electorate.
