Lithuania’s Lietuvos Energija to pay 56.2 million euros as dividends to state

Lithuania’s state energy holding company Lietuvos Energija (Lithuanian Energy) is set to pay out 56.24 million euros as dividends to the state for the second half of 2015. This brings Lietuvos Energija’s total dividend payment to the state for 2015 to 85.99 million euros, or 80 per cent of its distributable profits, marking the biggest ever annual profit contribution to the state budget by a state-controlled company in Lithuania.
