No exact date has been fixed yet for replacing onshore joints causing frequent failures of the NordBalt power interconnection between Lithuania and Sweden, the CEO of Lithuania's electricity transmission system operator Litgrid said on Friday, August 25.
"We are still going according to our initial plan. We are testing the joints to make sure that the technology is good and that the replaced joints will fulfill their function as they should," Daivis Virbickas said in a presentation of Litgrid's first-half performance results.
