Ramūnas Karbauskis, the leader of the ruling Farmers and Greens Union (LFGU), has confirmed that he offered the backing of his political group to Viktorija Cmilyte-Nielsen if the opposition Liberal Movement's leader agreed to run for speaker of the Seimas.
