Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis’ heart surgery was a success, said Riga’s Pauls Stradins Clinical University Hospital.
Latvian public television (LTV) said on Twitter that the operation has been completed.
Medics will provide more extensive information about the president’s condition on Thursday.
